Mercedes-Benz E 500 Limited was a special edition of the W124 E500 built in 1995 to celebrate the end of W124 production and highlight Mercedes-Benz’s partnership with Porsche, who helped assemble the model. The E500 itself was developed in the early 1990s to compete with high-performance executive sedans like the BMW M5, combining luxury with serious V8 power. The “Limited” version featured exclusive colors such as Blue-Black Metallic (Blue/Black), special 17-inch EVO II wheels, and a unique interior with Recaro sport seats in two-tone leather (often grey/black or black). It was produced in very small numbers, making it one of the rarest and most collectible W124 models today. Engine: 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 (M119), 4-speed automatic transmission, producing approximately 322 hp.
